Joe4d Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 As long as I used long ammo in the 1.160 to 1.180 oal they worked fine. WWB FMJ is about 1.169 so that works too. Bergie Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 I have never had a problem using .38 super mags in my 9mm 1911. I have 6 Chip McCormick 10 round Super mags and they all run flawlessly with a Montana Gold 124gr FMJ at 1.16 OAL. I guess I've just been lucky because I hear a lot of guys who say they don't work for them. Try them and see if they work. You may find out they work great.
