speedy169
Ok, I have searched several places, and just can't seem to find what I am looking for. My buddy has a set of steel plates that bolt on to a 1911 under a set of thin grips using the standard bushings. they actually key into the opening in the frame under the grips. They don't have a marking on them and they were on the gun when he bought it. I am starting to think they are a custom deal. I think they make the gun feel better and would like to get a set to try for myself, but I can't find them. Does someone know who makes them or where I can get a set. galt11
I have a pair on my Kimber that I got from Brownells a couple of years ago. When I did a quick search, I couldn't find them, but I know they sell them. Take a look in their paper catalog. I find it much easier to find things in there as opposed to the website. Guy Neill
Way back when, Jack Breskovich made them. I haven't heard of Jack being active either shooting or making grips for quite a while. Guy
