ChuckS
as long as we are drifting this thread, I have to admit I was never able to choose a Live Album winner over: Live at The Fillmore East - Allman Bros Waiting For Columbus - Little Feat. Later, Chuck PS: Honorable mentions: Get Yer Ya-Yas Out and Band of Gypsies Edited November 1, 2008 by ChuckS
ChrisStock
Yep...had this on vinyl and 8track...... Thanks for dredging it up out of the past. And yes, Siglady.. it was VERY cool catching that commercial. It was one of the few that I can actually stand.
Micah
Speaking of AC/DC...anyone have the new album? Opinions? It's good. Real good. And despite what Crispy Keen has to say about me, it hasn't left my CD player in my truck
Micah
Live at The Fillmore East - Allman Bros In that same vein, Live at the Fillmore East Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention rank right up there
maineshootah
Do you feel......like we do. Nominated by me as one of the best live albums to ever be created in the history of humanity. And the best deal at the money=time exchange rate at every jukebox across the planet. Thanks PB.. not only have I burned 2 hours of my life this evening watching you tube.. but now: I know what a talk box is I know how to make a ghetto version in both a box and the improved toilet plunger design I know some people should resist the urge to make a youtube video. Yeah, Frampton rocks.
SiG Lady
Some wonderful time long, long ago, we attended a British Day on the Green at the Oakland (CA) colliseum, and Frampton was one of the headline bands (along with Fleetwood Mac, Clapton and a truly stellar bunch of others). He had the place on its feet, that's for sure. A gigantic sing-along.
Anon
I saw Peter Frampton a few years back. He was an opening act at a show. I was BLOWN AWAY. He is fantastic (still).
