oddjob
Star Machine Works Reloader.....for 45 cal and 38 super I have a seller who says he just doesn't shoot enough to own this reloader. How much do these typically go for?? I use a 550b for .45 acp, but if this machine is any good I may just buy it. He's going to send photos later to me. I know NOTHING about Star reloaders. Rabe
http://www.magmaengr.com check out magma engineering regarding star reloaders current retail price. They are very well made and still sought after by reloaders. rabe
pmd
They are really well built machine - I have owned a couple in the past - but prefer the Dillon Reloaders. If the price is right it would be worth buying as there seems to be a cult following - I had no problem selling mine online. They show up often on e-bay and this site has a ton of info http://www.starreloaders.com/ Goodluck
TONY BARONE
I have used a Star loader with MA System case collator and bullet feeder for years. It's a trouble free system that will last a lifetime and then some. After 200,000 rounds the only replacement was a powder slide spring. The system is very expensive for todays market. SharonAnne9x23
when I started shooting a 45 my mentor allowed me to load on his Star Universal w/ Hulme case feeder. It was truly the Rolls Royce of progressive presses. IIRC the Dillon 1000 is a Star Universal converted to auto indexing.

Looking at the pictures of the various positions, I see my Dillon 1050's heritage. Thanks.
