Volquartzen trigger kit.or Power Custom trigger kit. or For less money ($65) send the trigger group to Clark Custom and get a better job than any drop in kit can do. Carlos Posted August 24, 2008 Share Posted August 24, 2008 It has been a few years since I played with 10/22s but I remember that the ONLY part you need for a sub-1 lb trigger was a $30 custom hammer - I think I used the Volkartsen. I found out the hard way: I bought the complete $100+ parts kit and put it in one gun (PITA to install too). Then I put a $30 hammer in my brother's gun and his trigger was every bit as good as my $100. Save yourself some money - just buy the hammer. Cheapest easiest trigger job - fit Volquartsen Hammer and Bolt release kit. Next step up. 2. Have someone who actually knows what they are doing, polish and square the contact surfaces of the above. Next step up. 3.KIDD If you need, desire or require the best buy the KIDD and stop messing about. Many people will shoot as good as they can with numbers 1 or 2, some people will always want the best, fine it's your money. Anything else is a waste of either time or money or both.
