AultGM
Many "moons" ago, I shot 155 gr. round-nose bullets for IDPA and Steel Challenge. They fed & functioned well, and were very accurate. I would like to know where to find several thousand of them on the West Coast. I prefer Moly-coated, but plain Lead or Copper Plated will do. They are not on the web now but still in business. They show a .40 Cal. 140gr. RNFP but the only 155 gr. 40. Cal they currently list is a SWC. I have used their bullets for sometime and they are moly coated and have always been very accurate in my guns. They may be able to fill an order for several thousand in RN, who knows? For orders for $95.00 or more they include shipping in the total price. Their .40 Cal. in 155 gr. are listed at $32.00 per 500.
get2now
I've been testing Bear Creeks 40 cal 140 gr. RNFP and I'm impressed. I've only used them in a Glock so far but they work great. The OAL is a little short and I haven't tried them in a 1911 yet but I will soon. Try em' you'll like em'. Gary
AultGM
Thanks for the Bear Creek Bullets Phone Number. I found this picture of the various .40 cal. bullets they offer. Looks like the 140 gr. RN will do the job for me, so I'll give them a jingle tomorrow. Edited August 21, 2008 by AultGM

The only true RN bullet I know of in 155 is the Berry's HBRN plated.

GW45ACP
I used to buy Berry's 155gr plated, but with their lead surcharge, they aren't as competitively priced as others. I switched to Montana Gold Bullets. Their 155gr FMJ's are $288/3K delivered.
TonyT
Frontier makes a 165 gr. plated (over a hard cast core) round nose 40 cal. bullet. I purchased a box at Rio Salado Sportsmans Club in Mesa, AZ last winter but have not loaded any to date. I thouight they would be ferfect for reloads in the S&W 646.
