JKSNIPER
MAY YOUR CHILD AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY KNOW ONLY HAPPINESS AND GOOD RANGE DAYS! My wife wound up in the hospital months prior to the birth of our twins. My son, J.D., was 5 pounds 15 and a half ounces and my daughter, Rosie, was 4 pounds 10 ounces. She had to stay a little while until she gaind a little weight. Then my wife's incision became infected and she was hospitalized again. It was tough then (26 years ago) and I feel your pain. Hang in there......try to enjoy even the hard times because with time they become the "good stuff" that you remember. Take lots of pics. We didn't and regret it now. Like the time my kids brought the lawn sprinkler into the house...wish I'd of taken some pics of that....in my defense I was kinda busy trying to lug a 1 million pound braided rug out to the fence so it could dry. Have fun! Good luck to the little one. JK Edited November 15, 2008 by JKSNIPER
rvb
Reid turned 1 on Saturday! I just wanted to send a note to all those who contacted me with good wishes and who were praying on his behalf to say thanks. It's hard to believe it's only been a year, yet it seems like yesterday. He lived in the NICU for 3 months, spent several months on oxygen at home, and then yet another couple months on monitors, hurnia surgery.... fast forward to this week and he started crawling. Amazing. He hasn't quite caught up to the growth charts yet (still in the bottom 5 percentile), but growing well. From 1lb-14oz to 18.5lb now. Next week he has one more major surgery to endure, then we should be done torturing him (prayers for that operation are welcome!). He obviously didn't like our singing... started really screaming right after this picture. Take care!! -rvb Edited August 18, 2009 by rvb
