G34 Loads?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I'm using Titegroup right now and its OK, just wondered if anyone has a Glock 34 minorload that is crazy accurate and feels good too. I'm using 4.0gr of Titegroup and 124 jhp MG.

I guess I can't let go of my Highpower roots. Just want to get as good a hit as I can hold.............

Thanks,

T

If your shooting for groups, your shooting too slow. ;)

Dude I already know I'm shooting too slow  Just want to know if I actually hold tight on a 35yrd popper

I will actually hit it. If I miss I want it to be my fault, not the ammo.

Thanks man, I got a buddy who uses 231 and 4.4gr w/ 124's, so I am going to try his loads in my 34 too.

That's not a bad load as it is. Nothing wrong with that bullet or powder. The only real way you can tell if it's accurate is to benchrest shoot it out of your G34. Titegroup shoots very accurate out of my G34 and G17, and MG bullets are about as good as it gets. If it functions, makes pf, and can shoot within 2 or 3 inches at 25 yards from a bench don't change anything with the load.

I'm using 5.8 gr Long Shot and 115 gr MG CMJ loaded at 1.145 OAL in my G34.

Chrono'd at 135 PF at 95 degrees at 300 ft elevation.

Bench rest at 25 yds produced 1.5 inch or smaller groups.

Got two I use depending on what components I scrape up.

125gr Black "billybullet" and 3.4grs Clays with a 1.160 OAL

147gr Rainer Plated and 3.4grs TightGroup with a 1.160 OAL

Can't decide witch I like most. Used in my G17.

I shoot lights out on the plate rack at 35y with my G34 and TG. If you are holding tight on a 35y popper and missing...it's probably not the fault of the ammo.

Actually I think the load is pretty good. I can't complain as it will easily put 10 rounds into the zero down center of an IDPA

target at 25yds shooting offhand. Just wondered if anyone had an even better load. Its more than acceptable for our sport. Always looking for something thats better............
