Comfortech stock ,does it help?

I think that I'm going to go to a pistol grip stock because Mikey likes them. Ok, maybe not.

As for the comforttech stocks, I can feel the difference shooting them but the clock shows that I shoot them at the same speed as the normal stocks.

I like the pistol grip stock on my M1 for some reasons. Mostly when I carried it in LE and it freed my other hand when necessary. My M1 worked fine with it. That said, I have changed it to the straight stock now that I am retired. Mostly because it is easier to reload without the pistol grip sticking up in the way.

When I am shooting, I really don't notice the recoil anyway.

There's a lot I don't like about pistol grip stocks, but they do spread out the recoil. It's "shared" between the shoulder and the hand.

I have the M2 w/comfortech stock and a good friend of mine has an M1 w/benelli recoil reducer in the stock. They feel about the same in recoil. But I think my stock looks cooler. Oh yea, for what its worth the comfortech has a really nice recoil pad that I think is what does the most good.

The best thing I have found is the $20 recoil pads from Walmart. I forget the brand, but it feels like a gel pad.
