Having your finger curled out isn't enough; you also shouldn't look like it's in the trigger guard. It's not worth going to a big match and getting called on that. Erik, My finger is curled up because I was getting ready to engage targets. I was bringing the gun up to level to engage the next two or three targets on the other side of the wall. It was within line-of-sight of the next target. The RO knew exactly what I was doing and didn't think anything was remiss. Like I said earlier, I was in the process of preparing to engage targets. There is no question. I was in no danger of having an accidental discharge. Like I also said earlier, I learned all about the ease of AD's two years ago in prctice. Haven't ever done it in a match.
