What page is that on?

This thread needs an index....lol

Thanks! It was being in the right place at the right time.

Truly outstanding effort - forget the number of shooters. You were there shooting the RIGHT gun...!

I will both recommend you for membership and... recommend you start on a probation for not reading the entire 100+ pages of our club history before considering if you might join this incredibly elite group on shooters...

:P

Pending approval from Zhunter and necessary administrative clearances and confirmation from Nemo.

Welcome!

I haven't read all 110 pages but I was wondering if I could join? I'm a dedicated SS shooter, don't even own another type of semi auto pistol. I got real lucky and brought home some plywood this year but the topper was today. I'm a C class shooter less than 1% from making B and look who I end up on the winners board with.

How about ending up on that winners board? And I only had to beat 4 other guys to do it and it was a close run thing.

So, can I join?

What do I get, like a funny hat or something?

Bill, do you come down to the MRPC match much? I've been known to shoot some, just some, single stack :D

This is only my 2nd Major USPSA match. I've just started shooting USPSA in earnest the last 2 years. In earnest meaning trying to improve. I was very lucky in this match for sure. I had way too many Mikes and no shoots. I just managed to do well enough against 4 other C shooters to win. It's crazy to me that I managed to end up on top with THOSE guys. I'd have paid my match fee all over again to have a group photo, cause this will never happen again.

I've read some of your match diary and watched some of your videos. I have no illusions.......lol

Is the MRPC match the one in TN next weekend?

BillD, as soon as Z gets here he'll give us his determination on your app. We need pix of your blasters and one of you so we can photo-chop it and have you wearing a funny hat.

WAKE UP, Z!

This was a very difficult match, it had more props and gimmicks than any one match I had ever shot, including SS Nats and WSSSC!!!! The match took a LONG time to shoot due to the difficulty of the stages, resetting props, and TONS of re-shoots due to the stage design. It was hot and mentally tiring, but the RO's were fantastic, especially considering the tough stages.

Nemo was a blast, and I look forward to getting together again sooner rather than later. We had initial discussions of a trip to SS Nats, and I am all for that!!!

As for our shooting, let's just say, we had fun ;) Nemo clipped me in the match, but I don't think either one of us were proud of our performances. WE'll get'em next time Nemo

There were some funny moments

No problem getting to those low kneeling and prone ports here... Like one of our squad mates said, "gravity helped, I'm so heavy that the earth sucked me down! :roflol: My problem was getting back up. :D

It was a great time!! B)

And the video evidence......

YouTube link

Cool video...........was that "wallowing" on that last stage???

Not sure what you call it, but the funny thing was, Nemo asked me two days before the match, ( in the "Which One" thread) if I was going to wear long or short pants, well.... I told him going to wear shorts for the first time as we never seem to shoot kneeling or prone stages. When we saw this stage we both laughed. It was my best stage :) and that was with a magazine getting stuck, so now you know how the rest of my match went :)

Jay and I weren't too far apart. This match didn't go well for me. I had two penalties in the first stage we shot so I hit the brake a lil' bit, but it seems the brake pedal got stuck. Too slow and still got too many penalties. Hey, at least I was high B-class, and the only one. <_< Oh well... there's always next time.

It was great to spend the day and shoot with Zhunter. We've been talking about shooting together for too long and just now we were able to make it happen.

Let's do it again, Jay!!

Nice job guys. Looks like you have a lot of masters in other divisions hanging out in Single Stack though!

Talk is cheap. Get me off probation and I'm down. If my wife says it's ok.

You can smack talk al you want while on probation, but yer servin' your 14 days

Jade, I coulda told ya that..... :roflol:

Yeah-I can try though. Went to Ohio to sulk. Did stop at Wayne Novak's in Parkersburg and gave him a Colt .45 to make ready. He is crabby as ever, but a really good guy. Great storyteller. Now-if Nemo is shooting the club match this weekend and it doesn't rain and he is shooting his blaster-can I get off probation? Like if I can win one stage? Please?

OK I gonna check with my wife just to make sure I can do what I want. I'm gonna tell her I'm in charge and I am shooting. It's never worked yet, but it will this time. Yes, it will.
