husker67
My right hand middle finger has a callus on the first joint from rubbing the lower rear part of the trigger guard on my G34. The callus doesn't make much difference to me, but is symptomatic of inability to get a comfortable grip on the gun. I want to relieve that part of the trigger guard, how do I go about it ? Thanks, Dave
HoMiE
Dremel. And if you do try to get rid of the glock knuckle, say goodbye to production and welcome to limited/l10.

Does anyone know if relieving the trigger guard will knock me out of SSP in IDPA? Thanks, Dave

coltgov
Now that you mentioned this, I looked at my knuckle. It's deformed!
bountyhunter
Now that you mentioned this, I looked at my knuckle. It's deformed! What wussies.... at least the thing pressing on it is plastic! When I first got my Beretta 92, I used to dry fire while watching TV. The trigger guard pressed on the top of the knuckle of the finger (left hand) and put a dent in it. After a while, that whole area on the finger WENT NUMB. Took quite while to get full sensation back... Edited January 3, 2008 by bountyhunter

husker67
Yep ---modification would mean changing category from SSP to ESP ---I'm leaving the trigger guard alone...Thanks guys
ParaJoe
Big Kahuna is going to have to chime in here as he did mine, but I'm fairly sure he wrapped a piece of sand paper around a dowel rod. He went up in grit sizes to make it perfectly smooth. Joe
the duck of death
Plastic wears with use, odd how mine have all worn in the trigger guard area making them quite comfortable to shoot.
