My kids stole the computer before I could finish my post. Mini rant.

BIG RANT: Is the economy as bad in your state as it is in Indiana and Montana?

Sound off like you got a pair!

"And you're mad...?", he says.....

Not so much "mad"--just mystified!! It's the equivalent of asking for a glass of water in a restaurant and having them charge me $9.95!!!!! Or something. So, why DIDN'T they charge me LAST year, I wanna know.

The economy here???!!! HaH!!! You gotta be kidding!!! This place is about the third worst state-of-affairs in all the contiguous Lower 48!! And now--now!--the Eugene City Council is all gooey and fuzzy about naming a long-ago named Centennial Blvd. into Martin Luther King Blvd..... Now, it's not the issue of WHOM they're naming it after--it could be about anybody--it's the STOOPID, STOOPID, STOOPID waste of money during a time when "this place is about the third worst state-of-affairs in all the Lower 48!" I think all the homeowners and businesses on that long stretch of road should bill the City of Eugene [if they insist on doing this name change] for all their new stationery, business cards, phone book listings (VERY expensive) and 'new address notifications' that will need to be sent to all their customers and relatives. This frivolous indulgence all makes about as much sense during these difficult times as trying to mow your lawn during a flood, for cryin' out loud......!!!!!:angry::wacko::wacko:

Sig Lady,

I got your response a little late, but come on over...there are a few shrimp left. There's still beer in the fridge. I'm sure my wife will understand when you show up. There's even a spare couch, but you'd have to deal with the rugrats wanting to watch cartoons first thing in the morning.

Cheers,

I know this is 10 days late, but...

I **HATE** (yes, it bugs me every year) having to put a STAMP on my tax return.

I already have to put a check in the damn envelope... can't they at least cover the postage?!?!

Bruce,

Sure they could ---- but they'd need to add seventeen lines to the tax form for you to calculate how much money you'd need to add to cover the postage for the tax form and all applicable schedules.

SigLady,

I find it empowering to know that anything I can get apart on a car, someone else can be paid to put back together if I can't get it reassembled. On the other hand, my mother has always had her vehicles serviced at the local dealership ---- where I'm sure the charge for printing the invoice is at least $ 25.-

My own rant of the week: Why can I build a 6" Limited gun on an STI or Springfield Frame using someone else's slide, barrel etc. but can't build a 6" Limited Gun on a Glock 21 frame? Apparently the Glock 24 or 17L are the only 6" Glocks that are legal for Limited.....

jkmccoy--

I'll be over in about 10 minutes....!:D

Pat--

Sentra is 1998. Didn't matter what year or model. I brought the bulb in on my own. I was just flippin' stunned they charged me so much labor to do so little. Expecially given the courtesy 'install' LAST year..........

Actually I was just curious about what you had, since I drive a Sentra too.

Websites for it are:

http://www.sr20deforum.com/

http://www.gtasentra.net/board/

Thought these might help with anything else you need for the car
