Hi all, here's the link:

Midway's AR Stoner mags

I haven't been into this AR stuff long enough or in depth enough to know whether I should attach any special signifigance to the "Stoner" name attached to these mags or not.

Yeah, I know the story behind Eugene Stoner and the guy who heads up Knight's Armament, from watching American Rifleman television.

Is sticking the "Stoner" name to 'em just a marketing ploy by Midway?

Do you think they'll be any good?

TIA

Hello: I have 4 of the Stoner mags (2-20's,2-30's). They seem to work well. I am just like you in that I am just starting out. I figure they are only $10 and could be used for spares. You can never have too many mags ;-) I may buy some more just to cut them up to make larger mags. Thanks, Eric

I had 2 that I sold after putting in Magpul followers. The Magpul followers had to be trimmed to fit without having to press them into the mag body. So my guess is the inside of the mag body is tight. If you like the stock green followers you probably won't have a problem.
