Chills1994
Hi all, here's the link: Midway's AR Stoner mags I haven't been into this AR stuff long enough or in depth enough to know whether I should attach any special signifigance to the "Stoner" name attached to these mags or not. Yeah, I know the story behind Eugene Stoner and the guy who heads up Knight's Armament, from watching American Rifleman television. Is sticking the "Stoner" name to 'em just a marketing ploy by Midway? Do you think they'll be any good? Aircooled6racer
Hello: I have 4 of the Stoner mags (2-20's,2-30's). They seem to work well. I am just like you in that I am just starting out. I figure they are only $10 and could be used for spares. You can never have too many mags ;-) I may buy some more just to cut them up to make larger mags. Thanks, Eric
PJ BAD
I have ten I bought when they were on sale for 9.99 some time ago. I have tried all of them and they all work fine. Hard to beat for the price.
fastshooter03
I had 2 that I sold after putting in Magpul followers. The Magpul followers had to be trimmed to fit without having to press them into the mag body. So my guess is the inside of the mag body is tight. If you like the stock green followers you probably won't have a problem. Nick
SteveU
If I'm not mistaken, the Stoner mags are MidwayUSA proprietary mags made by Cproducts. Should be good. I have Cproducts mags that work great.
EricW
They're good mags, but before you go gaagaa, that's normal everyday price at 44mag.com: http://www.44mag.com/prodinfo.asp?number=CP30 Free shipping if you buy $100 worth too. I've bought probably a couple grand worth of mags from 44mag and they are awesome to do biz with.

jobob
Don't be overly complimentary of Eric. It will go to his head!
EricW
At least I don't have to use a tire pump to inflate my M4.
jobob
You're right Eric, you don't. But then, I don't have a majically disintegrating 1100, either! I wouldn't wish that to happen to anyone, but that was the funniest thing I've ever seen at a match!
