LChico
Logged in to check my status and saw that there are aliases that you can set up for yourself. Does anyone use them? The alias option is there for shooters who are participating in IPSC matches and if they want an IPSC classification. A majority of the shooters at IPSC matches do not have (and do not want) classifications. It is a service available to those who want to use it. Rob Boudrie
The alises are IPSC aliases, for the international classification system (ICS). They are accessible on the USPSA site through a cooperative arragement with IPSC.

shred
A majority of the shooters at IPSC matches do not have (and do not want) classifications. Flipping through the scores at the European Championships, around 75% of the shooters had ICS classifications. They make a lot less big deal out of it though-- I've only been to one major match awards ceremony (Columbus Cup El Salvador) where they recognized them, though I did get a class medal at another, so I wouldn't say they don't want them or don't have them, but just don't use them much. Now US shooters, most of them could care less about having an ICS classification..
blsexton
Hey, this is good info. For some reason I always tought it was to register, well, an alias like the Cowboy's and Single Action Shooters....you know, like "smokey", "chief", "sheriff", "sarge" and stuff like that!
