itchy Posted October 21, 2007 Share Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) Hi, I was thinking about building an open steel gun on a commander frame. (I would supply frame and parts.) Any recommendations on gunsmiths? (I think I just opened the floodgates.... ) A friend has an STI that was chopped down from 5 inch to a commander size (no frames were available at the time) that feels great. I've shot several IPSC guns that my buddies use for steel, but they feel too "front end" heavy. (oh yea, I live in lovely California, so I'll be building on an existing single stack commander frame.
