Michael Carlin
About me, shooting competitively about 40 years off and on. Currently shooting NRA Service Rifle at the expert to Master level. Previous have shot bullseye 3 gun conventional pistol to expert level, (Distinguished Pistol Shot in 1995). Shot some military combat competitions at Little Rock and Connaught. Shot USPSA to C(?) level about 10 years ago. Now, 57, fit, interested in shooting USPSA 3 gun next year. Just bought a Rem 1100 Tac-4. Have probably shot less than 500 rounds of shotgun in my life. Live in the Lacrosse WI area. I would like to know if there is anyone up here that teaches shotgun technique aimed directly at USPSA 3-Gun Shotgun? Contact information? I am willing to travel up to 6 or 7 hours to get high-speed training. This is a fee for service deal if the training is well developed and executed. Anyone have contacts? BayouSlide
Until you find some live training, you may find Matt Burkett's DVD "Practical Shooting Volume 8: Shotgun Mastery" useful. dt1
Matt's DVD's along with shooting matches would be a good combo for training. I learned most of what I know by shooting matches and observing the more seasoned shooters.
