PMI AR15 mags

I found some new PMI AR15 mags that look like 40 round capacity. Does anyone have experience with these. Just checking before I buy them.

I suspect.....these are the steel mags that some people are talking about. I have 3 of them and they all work fine

HOWEVER........

I bought 8 of them to get 3 that would work in my particular AR15......I also took the followers out and replaced them with the CMMG stainless steel follower. The springs were fine, but WAY toooooo long, so I clipped a couple coils off.

If these are the mags you are talking about, they are about $11 to $15 each???

Also, when I say work....not only do I mean function, but they also have to actually fit and drop free.....some don't.

Yes these are probably the same mags. They are asking $15 each. I have a couple Sterlings but thought for $15 this might be nice to have----if they work.

I have a couple of PMI 40 rounders. I had to file the top of the mag catch hole on both, though, as they sat a tad too high in my guns. They both run 100% with MagPul followers (did not even bother to run them with the original followers). I use them in almost every 3-gun match.

If the ones you are bing offered really are PMIs, then snatch them up.

When I went back to the store the 2 PMI marked mags were gone but 2 identical looking mags were there. I picked one up to try and it wouldn't even go in my mag well. So much for a cheap 40.
