Big Guy
Any advantages for using of JHP over FMJ? Edited April 15, 2007 by Big Guy
GentlemanJim
I use jhp, most people claim they are more accurate. They also seem to break up better on steel targets...less splatter back at you. Other folks on the forum can give more specifics Jim
Huston in Austin
The copper base of the JHP is better than the lead base of the FMJ.
Rob Boudrie
The copper base of JHP will prevent the lead buildup in compensators.
10ring
I've been using the CMJ to give me the closed base design. This seems to keep the lead build up on the compensator as mentioned with the JHP design.
XD Niner
Mario, I use 125 grain Zero JHP's in my .38 Super. I find that there is much less smoke with the JHP since the base is totally encapsulated. It also cuts down on the possiblity of contact with the lead although that is a minor issue. If you are going to be at the SAPSA match on Saturday, I'll give you a dozen to try out in your blaster.
