2007 Area 5 Championship

The 2007 Area 5 Championship will again be hosted by Holmen Practical Shooters at the Holmen Rod & Gun Club, Holmen Wisconsin.

Match Date:

August 16th - 19th, 2007

This will be a one day format, competitors can choose to shoot on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Staff & ROs will shoot on Thursday. Self-Squadding service will be done online on the USPSA website.

Match will consist of 10 stages, plus chrono station.

This year we'll be using two separate applications, one for the competitors and one specifically for the staff. Please use the appropriate application.

Match Fee:

$130.00 (Juniors $75.00) entries must be postmarked by July 15, 2007.

I had this on the calender as a match to make. Looks like I'll be attending a wedding the same weekend.

Is it your wedding?.... ;)

Yeah.........I'm trying to figure out how I can make that 12hr drive back and not be late for the appointment.......ahh wedding I mean :huh:

Just kidding :lol: , I'm already married and have a 3.5yr old and a 2yr old.

I was honestly considering it but it would require taking Wed, Thurs and Fri using vacation days. Not sure if I want to do that. I have several vacations this yr including a 12day hunting trip to North Dakota. Not sure how much Vacation I want to burn.

Its a thought though.

You headed up to Michigan for Targeting Ed??

Hi everybody,

The Area 5 Championship is just around the corner . As of now, there are still plenty of slots open on Friday and Saturday. Sunday still has slots open but is filling up quickly. Please get your applications in early to ensure you get to compete on the day and squad of your choice.

Hi everybody,

Just sending out one last reminder that the applications for the Area 5 Championship must be postmarked by July 15th http://championship.uspsa-area5.org As of now, there are still plenty of slots open on Friday and Saturday (Thurs with the staff if requested). The entry deadline for the Area 5 match is officially past; however, we still have slots available on Friday & Saturday (or Thurs with the staff if requested). Sunday is FULL. If you are interested in shooting the match, we are still accepting applications. Please indicate the day you want to shoot the match on the application.

The 2007 Area 5 match book has been posted on our website and is available for download. You can find it on the Area 5 page at this link http://www.wisconsinshooters.com/uspsa_area_5_match.htm

Keep in mind, if any changes are made (additional sponsors, match staff, etc.) they will be included in the final printed version distributed in the shooter bags at registration.
