f250sd
Anyone using Power Pistol in a .38 super comp open gun. How does it fill and track compared to the popular powders? I'd be shooting it in a STI Grandmaster. Thanks.
shred
it works, but it's a little fast. Several threads discussing it (among others). Sticking 'power pistol' into the searchbox should get you lots of reading..
XRe
Seems like it sees some use in 9mm Major - but for Super/Supercomp/TJ, you have a lot more case to play with. Highly advise looking at something a little slower... I've seen some scary-ass primers in 9mm Major loads using PP... (and, yes, before someone freaks out, I've seen some that were relatively OK, too, but....) In general, slower is friendlier Edited November 28, 2006 by XRe
Harmon
ive shot 4 pounds of it through my major 9 and about 3 pounds in a hybrid 38 super. IMO it shoots good, just really loud and flashy. 115s and PP in a hybrid will rattle the windows in neighboring buildings. Harmon
yoshidaex
+1 to what Harmon said. Very loud and very bright. It has the ohh and ahh effect with the bystanders at the indoor range....
eric nielsen
I really liked the way it worked the comp in my 38super and compared to HS6 it wasn't that bad on the ears. But... Thru my STI the FLASHBALLS were bright as the sun & big as a basketball. Had to give it up.
TonyT
I have used Power Pistol in 9mm 147 gr. loads. It meters excellently.
