3quartertime
Driving home tonight my daughter tells me a story about her and her best friend this weekend. They were driving in my daughters best friend's fathers car. One of the popular tunes from 'Panic at the Disco' came on the radio. The girls are all singing along and her father asked who that was. My daughter pipes up and tells him and adds that her dad ( me if your following along at home) really likes some of there songs. He says, "really". " I think it's not good at all", he adds. My kid smiles looks at her friend and says to herself, "ok, my dads cool and your dad isn't". It took me 40 years to figure out how to be cool for a 12 year old. Man is the mountain really that tall!!! lol...

hitman
For some strange reason my 14 year old son still thinks I am cool and so do most of his friends. Not sure if because I have hot girlfriends, ride a fast, cool motorcycle, shoot guns, jump out of perfectly good airplanes. Might be that I like to blow things up and they are scared I might blow them up next. At any rate I am sure that will change in another year or too.
