johes
I've been loading Montana Gold 200gr jacketed flat points with 5.2 grs. VV 320 and like the load. I don't mind the little extra cost of vihtavouri, but it's not as available as other powders. Can any of you recommend another powder that would be comparable to this load. I need to make IDPA CDP power. Thanks
HSMITH
Regular Clays, start at 4.4 and chrono up. As soft shooting and as clean as you will find.

DogmaDog
I used 4.6gr WST under a 200g LSWC bullet. You'd probably have to bump it up a tenth or two with a jacketed bullet. Made right around 170 PF.
tallgrass
I use WST, can't remember the exact amount, but it seems to be clean and not a lot of recoil.
Japle
5.2 gr of WST with a plated RN - West Coast, IIRC. It's a little warmer than nedded for my 1911s, but works in my Witness and I don't want to fool around with 2 .45 loads.
