onedollar
i know you can use a rev for open but would it be legal in say prod/l10/lim ?.
Tom Freeman
i know you can use a rev for open but would it be legal in say prod/l10/lim ?. It could be used for any division but single stack. Production would be a bitch as all your ammo would have to be behind the hip.
shred
Yeah, I tried it once and mentioned it to Jerry at the Nationals. Being 2 rounds down and having a slower reload, plus having to do yoga to get to all your moonclips makes for a fun afternoon, but not a competitive one. He agreed with me. sargenv
I guess that would be one case where those Double stacked Moon holders would shine. But still, you can be down 2 or 3 rounds... since you can't Barney round a Revo. Vince
onedollar
yea i know its a little off center but as i'm as slow as dirt they days. the fun factor has risen i thought a 627 would be interesting in l10 and could sill shoot rev. i seem to have caught the wheel gun fever. Carmoney
Production would be a bitch as all your ammo would have to be behind the hip. I've shot Production a couple times with an 8-shot revolver, and it's not bad at all if you reload Spook/Dan style. You just need to remember to reach for the moonclips over at the side of your body (behind the hipbone), instead of directly in front. I have shot it a couple of times with the Blade-tech holders and had a great time. But I do reload with the left hand. I raised the question hoping he shot revolver, but, with a right hand reload, all the tougher. His percentage seemed about right for it.
