HSMITH
I have had cable for a few years now. When on the road for business sometimes I am forced to use dial up, talk about frustrating!!!!! Even the T1 line at the office is frustrating after using cable for a while, most DSL is torture too. Cable internet ROCKS!!!!
Rob Boudrie
There is a problem with your T1 - it's either a factional T1, or shared between many users hogging the bandwidth.
Scooter
Dial up? What's that? BTW, DSL isn't slow anymore. I'm on a 8 mbps DSL which runs under $30 per month.
Adam B
Got it today at the house. We were still using dial-up. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Now that you have high speed make sure that you have a firewall (not the built-in windows software firewall) between your computer and the internet. There are all sorts of new threats (worms, viruses, spyware) that come with high speed, that normally wont effect a dial up user.
