590 Sights?

Hello all, I have a Mossberg 590 I've been using for Heavy Metal and discovered the bead isn't too good for longer range slugs. I've heard good things about the XS Big Dots, but don't really want to spend $120 for iron sights on a $300 shotgun. Any favorites out there? Thanks for the help.

I have MMC ghost ring sights on my 590. They were in the same price range as the AO sights you mentioned though. If you dont have a Brownells catalog you might call and get one as they have a few other choices. 1-800-741-0015

If you don't want to spend a fortune but get something better you could look at Hi viz.

If you have a vent rib Williams makes their Firesights that clamp on to just about any rib and they are not expensive (less than $50 if I remember correctly). I had a set on my 1100 and they worked very well.
