ATMester
I'd like to get grips with finger grooves cut in them. It would help a lot if I would not have to shift my grip during the reload. Anybody knows where I could get some for s SS 1911 ?
Matt Cheely
I think Hough makes what you're talking about. HOUGE
ATMester
Actually it would be a groove cut for the thumb only (on the left side grip panel) in order to reach the magazine release easier - without having to shift the grip.

redwoods
Try an ambi mag release from Smith and Alexander, if you are a right handed shooter, you could use your finger to drop the mag instead of your thumb, or just get a tapped mag release and put an extension on it, if it is legal, depending on your division. wide45
This is not what you asked for, but a lot of the top guys do shift the grip to hit the stock button. Here is proof that it is not slow.
