DaG
Does anyone have schematics on how to strip a sp o1? I would like to take it apart to do some polishing and install a new hammer but I don't have a clue how to get started. Does it start off like a 2011 or is it totally different? ChuckS
DaG, I don't recall any graphics but there are multiple posts that describe the process on the CZ forum ( http://p201.ezboard.com/bczechpistols82792 ). Look around in Club SP-01 and CZ Home Gunsmithing. Later, Chuck
eerw
Here is the manual for the CZ75..which has a schematic and is pretty much the same way you take a sp01 apart.. http://www.czshooters.com/modules.php?name...nload&cid=2 is this a manual safety model or the decocker model?? what you need to do..is after you have the slide off, and pull out the hammer spring..you need to get the ejector/sear cage out..this will let you get access to the hammer pin and the trigger bar. depending if you gun has the safety or decocker..will determine what and how things come out. Kevin Kline
Wait til you take out the extractor pin. What a bear!!!! Holy crap, that pin almost never came out, and then didn't want to go back in. That is one of the hardest gun related smithing things Ive ever done. That pin wasn't ever coming out!!!
