Jake Di Vita
Out at the range for the first live fire practice in 2 weeks, strap on the gear, up to the 10 yard line for a bill drill. First time I have ever been able to get it under 1.7. First run was 1.58. Draw was .85, splits as far down as .13. Thought it may have been a fluke so tried it again. 1.55 with a draw of .83 and splits down to .13 again. Maybe it is good to sometimes take a break to refocus yourself. Jake Di Vita
Both times. My hand could cover all the holes.
A33435
It seems you are getting used to your new G35 pretty well. Congratulations. Greetings Adrie
Flexmoney
Cool. I didn't know those Beretta's would shoot that fast?
Jake Di Vita
Flex, Ernie is still looking at the Beretta, he can't figure out what's wrong with it. I did that with the new G35. Adrie, Thanks, I'm really enjoying this gun. (Edited by TheItlianStalion at 5:51 pm on Jan. 8, 2003)
ErikW
Ron, I was thinking the same thing! Jake, Minor or Major? Sorry to sound skeptical, I'm just envious! I haven't broken 2.0 at 7 yards.
Jake Di Vita
Major, actually I was using the last of the Triton Hi-Master ammo I had. Don't worry about being skeptical, I had to check the timer 3 times before I believed it. Jake Di Vita
Thanks Mr. Anderson (perhaps we should change your fancy name to Neo:)).
Steve Anderson
Hell, I was neo way before I was hank. I just have more in common with hank. I love being Mr. Anderson...the sequels are coming. It seems you've been living two lives.... I know how it feels to look at the timer and double take, but maybe (in looking at other posts and the whole picture) it's time for some group therapy? Jake Di Vita
That's good stuff. I think your right about the group therapy... I can do pretty good on the fairly close hose stuff, but I start getting rough around the edges out to 20 yards and beyond.
Flexmoney
Maybe it was the shoes...yeah, gotta be the shoes. Seriously, great work.

Sorry to sound skeptical, I'm just envious! I haven't broken 2.0 at 7 yards. Eric, i also can't beat consistent 2 seconds at 7 yards either. In training i sometimes do. I your last qualifiermatch we had a bill drill at 8 yards. Only 2 competitors were able to do it in less then 2 seconds Both were open shooters one of them GM Saul Kirsch and he had 1 C 1 29 1.90 15.2632 30.0000 100.00 106 S.Kirsch Best time in limited was 2.13 (my time 2.18) but best time with all A's was 2.22 Now i know Jake's scoring i aint envious but eager to follow him in time. Bill Schwab
Jake, Nice job! I'm still tickled from my first and only sub-2 second BD. But 1.5 seconds? That's quite an accomplishment.

B.J. Norris
Do not underestimate the Dark Side of the force Jake. Managed to get down to the range( After pushing a few trees out of the way) for about the first time in a month or so today. First Bill Drill was like 2.13 with 2 C's. Best reload (On time anyway my best load was 1.16 with 2 A's about a half inch apart.)was .91, but I kinda forgot to hit the target off the load... Second best was .99 with A and D. With you doing 1.5 bill drills I better start watching my six. (Edited by IPSC G34 at 9:50 pm on Jan. 9, 2003)

Steve Anderson
You guys are forgetting Jake doesn't even shave yet. Wait til life burdens him with responsiblity, he'll wither and fade for sure. His hormones are doing the shooting!!! SA
