newshooter
Hello everyone I am looking into buying a shot timer have never purchased one before and I was wondering what do you all suggest for a shot timer. I was looking at the CED 7000 or the 8000. I am not sure if those are good or do I go with another model. I just wanted some input on this Thanks for taking the time to read this
AikiDale
If you just need a timer I like the new CED 7000. If you reload, or will soon be reloading and do not have a chronograph, order the Pact MKIV from Brian's store with the sky screens and you have a timer and a chronograph. bruce282
I have the CED 8000 and really like it. I've used the 7000 but the screen seems more cluttered to me being smaller. Also check here. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14608 Bruce Editted to add link. Edited August 23, 2006 by bruce282
tptplayer
I am very happy with my CED 7000. The small size makes it really handy to practice with.

AlamoShooter
I have 4 dif makes of shot timers my favorite is the Pact MK111 - its 17 years old. but a friend has the CED 8000 and it is very cool I would get it myself in the RF model so that it would work with the big Scorbourd screens JF
XD Niner
I have a CED 8000 and have been extremely happy with it. I like the large numbers on the display. However, if I were buying one now I would buy the CED 7000 in a heartbeat.
