targa88
Newbie question: Starting off in the sport of "tactical" shooting: IPSC, IPDA, PPC. Basically using two different pistols at the moment: WC Protector & Beretta 92 Brigadier. I have purchased a holster (kydex) and a CDr speed belt. 1)still trying to figure out the "dual belt system - what goes on first, whic belt layer, then the holster and mag pouches? 2)mag pouches: cr speed or speed com, double or single. I know that adjustable is a good idea. I would prefer to only have one set of mag pouches that can adapt to 9mm as well as 45? Any help would be appreciated. Thx. Kevin Kline
Personally, I really like the mag pouches made by Kytac. He makes great mag pouches that are fast and easy to get to and maintain. The CR Speed pouches are also excellent.
JakeMartens
I have been using the CR speed pouches this year and really like them. For the belt, the soft flimsy one goes through your belt loops, the heavy one wraps around the other, overlapping in the back I couldn't figure it out either until I was watching other put it on

XD Niner
I have a CR Speed belt and their Versa mag holders. I use them for both my XD-9 9mm and my .45 cal single stack mags. You'll need to change inserts in the mag pouches when you convert from one set of mags to another but it is fairly easy to do. That said, I am getting an identical second belt and mag pouches so I don't have to waste time with the conversion.
