BOGA
Hello there, I bought a discontinued project (my 2nd open). Discontinued bec the previous owner bought a ready to fire shorty instead STI short DC, with STI full lenght slide, already lightened and the only thing left are the small parts and barrel. small parts-are already taken cared of, including c-more (courtesy of prize table). my plan is to use this mainly for steel match bec i already have a 9SC for ipsc/uspsa match 9MM? which one or whose? thanks! 9x21
Schuemann maybe the best, but hard to come by right now. I've had excellent results with Nowlin as well. Bar-sto also good. Dan Bedell uses KKM if Schuemann n/a.
warpspeed
Bar-sto
diehli
STI S1 TruBor. If you already have the comp, Bar-Sto, Nowlin, or KKM.
Bullzeye
I would go with Bar sto. I tried ordering a Schuemann about 3 weeks ago and it has not arrived yet. I dont think it will at this point.
BigDave
I have a 6" Kart in a non-comp'd 38 Super that has been working really well. I don't know if they sell threaded barrels or not, though. I'm sure you could buy a 6" and thread it. Brownells only has non-threaded barrels.
spd522
My open gun has a STI Trubor S2 and works great for 9 major and is super soft for std 9mm loads. More accurate than I am and loves the cheap UMC 115 gr stuff.
