Still Praying Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I'm not sure how this works. If you win your class in the Area 6 this year(06), do you get a slot for this year or 07? Ronnie
Shooter Grrl Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 06 wins count for 07 slots. To go this year, you woulda had to have won last year.
davidball Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 You still have a chance to get a slot from your section coordinator which are allocated by participation levels last year and to get on the waiting list later this spring . . .
driver8M3 Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I'm not sure how this works. If you win your class in the Area 6 this year(06), do you get a slot for this year or 07?keep in mind that this only applies if you live in that area. i see that you are from GA, so you would get a slot (for '07) by winning your class at the '06 area 6. however, if you win your class at any other area match, no slot for you.
spd522 Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Winning your class at an area match doesn't guarantee a slot. There has to be at least 50 shooting the division for the winners of each class to get a slot. If there are less than 50 in the division, only the overall division winner gets a slot. At least that is how it was explained to me regarding me winning my class in L10 at Area 3 in 2004 but not getting squat. Hopefully you win in a division that won't have that problem. Good luck. Craig
Still Praying Posted March 10, 2006 Author Posted March 10, 2006 Thanks everyone I have never won anything at the Area 6, but the side match plate rack (and had to shoot it about 20 times to get that). So I'm not going thinking I'm going to win, just wishing. That being said I guess I had better get started begging, bribing or something if I want to go. Ronnie How much does a slot (Section Coordinator) cost nowa days anyway?
Singlestack Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 How much does a slot (Section Coordinator) cost nowa days anyway? They offer them to club members first. Are you a member of SRGC? If no club member wants them, then they go up for grabs to the rest of the Section.
