CO legal holster shroud for alpha x

Recommended Posts

Ive had a daa alpha x for my open guns.

I was getting tired of using kydex for my CO

so I thought instead of paying 140 for a ghost holster, why not add a shroud to the alpha x and make it legal for co

this is already approved by dnroi

But I thought it’s super cool.

any thoughts?

Interesting idea... do you remove the shroud from the holster when you shoot Open or are you leaving it there for all your pistols?  Attachment method to the holster?

shroud is easily removable.
it’s more for the flexibility of using the same holster when shooting ipsc since ipsc allows race holsters for production optics

Looks good, how does the shroud attach?

Two insert screw holes on the back. Rock solid.

Thanks.  Any challenge getting to the holster lock lever in the back?  Looks like the thickness of the kydex may provide a bit of an issue.  Really like the ingenuity!

As long as the distance to belt is okay. Is this also your open/limited rig too or have you relegated this holster to CO only?

relegated to CO only

Shroud clears from the holster lock. Thanks. I knew someone would find it cool!
