Apex trigger vs Timney

I have several M&P 9s with the Apex both 1.0 and 2.0.  I have one with the Timney Alpha.  I prefer the Apex, but it seems the Alpha may be a little more consistent setting off primers.  Even with Federal primers I get occasional light strikes with the Apex triggers.

Are you all finding a difference in primer ignition, Apex 1.0 vs Apex 2.0 vs Timney Alpha?

Or does this just very gun to gun?

Before I needed an optic I shot 2011s and never had this problem.

Hmmmm.... I am wondering what could be a factor from a trigger standpoint, since the Apex uses the factory striker spring.

Maybe something is not allowing the Striker Block from getting moved?

I have a few guns that seem to be setting off primers sufficiently, but unfortunately those slide are not optic ready.

Swapping out slides seems to make things worse.

Maybe swap around the strikers?

Or get a few new ones, they are cheap and easy to swap.

Thank you for the options to try.

Should swapping slides not be a factor.  They used to sell OEM slides, so I assumed they were able to just drop in to a frame.
