Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. This gun was disgusting! It was covered in gunk but cleaned every pin and part. All springs will be replaced and polishing has begun. Not done but already looking and feeling better, still need to hit it with dremel and polishing compound.
  2. Ok so finally hit the mailbox. Have to make some time this weekend to start working on her.
  3. I haven’t tried a Timney trigger but have never had an issue with the apex in my core 2.0
  4. An old steel small frame 9mm with import date of 1993. The trigger pull is not bad but a bit gritty. It’s an old gun but not many rounds through it. It was my uncle’s piece but he’s in his 80s with dementia so I took over. just want a smooth straight shooter, no competition in mind.
  5. New to the platform, impossible to find ANY Tanfoglios in California.i started reading through here but there is so much info. So I ordered CGW only to find out very few are compatible. I have the trs, light safety plunger spring, hammer spring and awaiting reduce power firing pin spring. Is it necessary to replace the actual spring? I see patriot defense has an extended one, but is it necessary for factory ammo? Once i have everything I’m going to polish the trigger action too to have a fine trigger pull. I guess now i need to get an actual CZ since I have spare parts lol
  6. Sorry for reviving this old thread but just inherited a Witness with build date code AE of 1979. When i ran the entire serial code, it says import date of 1993. Does that make sense? Was it made 14 years prior to import?
  7. I just picked up 1993 as well. About to start tinkering and looking for grips
  8. Hello everyone. I have experience with 1911s and about to get my first Tanfoglio. My uncle is 85 but a cheapskate so selling me his 1993 Witness 9mm. I believe it’s small frame and less than 500 rounds though it. first thing is to disassemble and clean since it’s been in a safe at least 10 years unfired. Test then possibly replace springs. These guns are sexy and can’t wait to have it.
