YVK
There is a conventional round type, and there's a teardrop. Anybody ever used the teardrop in an angled position and had it stay in place without moving?
WxGuy
I kept mine loose and it found it's natural spot. Tightened it down and here it is on the Steel Frame. I have one on my Pro SD and it did the same thing. Perfect for me.
YVK
Is it staying in that position under use? I don't imagine that you've had a ton of reloads through steel frame but perhaps enough through the Pro. My understanding is that mating surfaces are flat and only screw tension is holding it in place.
WxGuy
You are right, not many reloads yet but it's holding up just fine on both guns.
telligentgunner
Who makes this one, Walther? And where can it be purchased?
WxGuy
It's a Walther part. https://waltherarms.com/shop/q-series-extended-magazine-release-button-oval-blue
WxGuy
Here's a pic of the LOK extended button mag release that fits the Walther extended release. With my grip, I now prefer this!! The screw that comes with the LOK button is too big.
