  1. Probably because pistol shooters complain about rifle shooter's times.
  2. Anyone shot both 124s and 147s who can state the difference and which one they like best?
  3. Why do you keep spamming the forum with Black Scorpion Gear??? You already posted this.
  4. I'm going to use mine in Limited Optics too. I think I'm going with the Double Alpha Flex Hester because I can add a muzzle support rod to it.
  5. I heard rumblings that IDPA is requiring PCC shooters to wear concealment if they intend to do a reload during a stage. Has anyone else heard this? There is nothing about this at all in the current rule book on the IDPA website. Appendix B remains the same since the beginning of 2023.
  6. If someone like Align Tactical or thumb rest [generic] USA creates a thumb rest to replace the takedown lever, will it clear or is there enough room to modify the holster for one to fit? Please post a pic of a top down view with and without the gun inside.
  7. I'd call or message MBX to confirm. I bought some Canik mags from them for my Rival-S and they didn't function When you find out directly from them for sure, please post.
  8. I put the TTI versatile basepads on a mag and took off the magwell to test over-insertion. If you press up and release the slide, it locks open. This means the basepads allow over-insertion of the magazine feed lips. This is the same problem I had with a Canik Rival-S, which has now been fixed by Canik in newer models. If someone doesn't care and wants 4 flat black TTI basepads and springs, message me.
  9. Picked up one last week for vision training. Still evaluating.
  10. I'm not going to buy and keep a gun that has a design flaw that prevents it from working the way it's supposed to from the factory, regardless if it's just for competition. I recently got a Walther PDP Match steel frame to compare the two to see which one I want to keep and buy another of and it does not have this issue, which is how it should be.
  11. That's not encouraging. Sold my older version and picked up a new one with a label date of 12/21/2023 with serial # 23 CS 080XX. I made sure to get the serial number and the date on the label before purchasing. We'll see what happens. I'm now seeing plenty on GunBroker, some with label dates in 2024.
  12. Who makes this one, Walther? And where can it be purchased?
  13. If they make one with a steel frame, I would consider buying one.
  14. Can't say much more than all the good stuff in a smaller package. I just don't know about the weight when carrying appendix. I'll likely get one. The two things I don't like about the gun is that tab on the bottom back of the pistol grip (hampering reloads) and how high the typical optic sits. I'm used to the deep cut of the Zev OZ9 where almost everything co-witnesses with normal height sights. I'm going to have to go with a Holosun SCS if I want to co-witness without suppressor height sights, but it's only available with a green reticle right now. Good to know. I was questioning this.
  15. FYI: Just got back from shot show and there's a compact (Glock 19 size) version of the PDP Steel Frame. Not sure if I'd like the extra weight at my appendix, but it's pretty sweet.
  16. Those of you who have an updated, working Rival-S, please drop the serial number (with the last 2 digits as XX if you want) so those of us who are looking to buy a newer production model can compare serial numbers with the one we want to buy. This way hopefully we can prevent getting shafted with an older model that doesn't work properly and then have to go through all the BS with Century Arms, like I went through before. Specify Darkside or Chrome. I saw a new Darkside recently on Gunbroker.com with: T6472-23 CS 0828X The Darkside I had issues with (and sold): T6472-23 CS 012XX
  17. I've heard people say they like 135gr.
  18. Has the over-insertion problem been solved in the new production model?
  19. I wish Walther would stop adding that tab to the bottom back of the pistol grip. Some people have trouble with fast reloads with it there when the magwell isn't installed. If anyone had problems with it on a design I came up with, I'd immediately remove it in the next design.
  20. Shorter and a lot better. I'm sure you can find YouTube videos on it.
  21. This is not correct. I put in a Timney AR-15 Competition 3 lb trigger (667S-ST) and it works really well. The slope on the cassette allows it to fit. I have an extra one for sale here if anyone is looking to use anything else other than the Geissele:
  22. I will be testing out the Winchester white box 115 gr with the 60 locker. I've been shooting Super Vel 115 gr through it and have been having 1 jam (double feed) per match lately. It cost me a win at a major match recently. I'm suspecting it's the ammo because it ran flawlessly through my JP-5 at USPSA nationals. But like Max says, it's on the edge. The Winchester of away from the edge, it's new brass, and I can also shoot it in IPSC and IDPA. Every time I run the Sellier & Bellot ammo, it just runs flawlessly but I want less PF. FYI, I was disqualified at nationals for shooting the Super Vel 100 gr. PCC Blitz. I assumed it would be okay since USPSA is affiliated IPSC, but I was wrong. There are some tips about choosing ammo toward the end of this video:
  23. If anyone's buying any parts, use "MILES" at checkout for 10% off.
