Headstamp Sorter

Wonder how many people have seen or built this on Github https://github.com/sjseth/AI-Case-Sorter-CS7.1 , also on utube under CS7.1.

I built two of them for my brother and me and it's pretty fun. Suppose to use AI although I sometimes question the I part.

But for someone who spends hours sorting buckets full of brass it definitely helps.

I’ve got one set up. Works well but wasn’t the easiest thing to get there.  Seth does a ton of good work getting people up and running though

The only issue I had was with the stepper motors, didn't work. Then I was looking at the motors on Amazon wondering if I had the right ones (my brother bought the electronics and I printed the parts out of PETG) and happened to find a note far down on the page that said that some cables had the wires reversed, that was it.

I'm just trying to figure how best to use it, I trained on a few gallons of my misc brass and am up to 67 different headstamps. But that was some brass that I'd already sorted for what I use.

Turns out I'm too old to do videos but a picture of one of mine when I was teaching it. You can find videos on the u-of-tubes under CS7.1.

@sharko yeah I have watched all of Seth's videos, and seen a few other creations friends have done from his build plans, just always looking to see what other improvements or changes people have done to the system on their own that he hasn't published.

I built three, currently run two. No changes from his setup other than casefeeder and pole mount shims I did. They run great.
