konkapot
Got a used eotech from a buddy. Put it on my PCC about 1200 rounds ago and the thing appears to be dead. New batteries aren't helping. Any point in trying to replace any of component parts? Any troubleshooting recommendations? Not new to guns but totally lacking in "dot repair" skills. perttime
Did you check if Eotech manuals might have something useful in the troubleshooting section? https://www.eotechinc.com/help-center/product-manuals
konkapot
First place I checked. I may, possibly, have had the night vision button pushed. Not likely but it's working now.....
Boomstick303
Which model EoTech is it? If it is the older 500 series where the batteries are inline/parallel with the rifle bore, the battery tabs would become deformed due to recoil, creating a situation where the batteries would loose connection. This is one of the main reason the newer EXPS series has the battery horizontal in relation to the rifle bore.
