N3WWN
Hunters HD Gold (glasses with both gold and ruby lenses) are full blown safety glasses. Many times, folks will not install the side shields or will remove them, which is why a lot of folks wearing HD Gold glasses on the range don't have much side protection. Not using the side shields minimizes their effectiveness, but they are available and is a choice of the shooter.
MadBomber
Wrap around glasses from Oakley and Rudy Project are really hard to beat.

SaspDad
Thanks all for the great suggestions. Ended up trying Wiley PT1 (that was what I could get quickly) and they seem to have much better peripheral coverage. They seem similar to the Wiley-X Guard. Will keep the others in mind as they all looked great too.
