Doggorloader
We entertain friends and family over the holidays and what always works for me: doesn't work for everybody. Maybe we can collect a bunch of alternatives? Holiday Mimosa 6 Tbl Grand Marnier 2 Tbl granulated sugar 1 bottle of Champagne 1 cup fresh orange juice Pour the Grand marnier in a small bowl, sugar in a saucer. Dip champagne glasses in the GM and then in the sugar to form a crust on the lip. Fill each glass with three parts Champagne and 1 part OJ. Poinsettia Cocktail 1/4 cup Vodka 1/4 cup Champagne 1/2 cup cranberry juice crushed ice 2 strips orange zest 1/4 by 2" Combine all the liquids in a large red wine glass and add the ice and stir till chilled. Twist the both orange pcs. over the glass and drop in.

AustinMike
Samuel Smith Winter Welcome! I usually bring a case in to share with the boys at work, which reminds me, I'd better get by the store tonight and get it before Friday. I'll always take their Imperial Stout too, quite possibly my favorite beer in the world! Mmmm...beer!

kimel
On Christmas I will be choosing from among the following: Tequilla - Cuervo Gold (not trendy but I like it) Scotch - Lagavulin (16 yr old) Bourbon - Maker's Mark Tennessee - George Dickle #12 Any of three flavors of my own homebrew One or more of the gazillion bottles of wine in the wine "cellar" One year I made frozen margaritas and half the batch got a bit of genadine in it. Layered them in the glasses for that Red/Green holiday cheer thing. After the second batch I stopped layering bothering with grenadine. Good times...good times... DJPoLo
One of the world's best is made right here in TEXAS! Tito's Vodka Tito's is The Bomb. Absolutely my favorite vodka, hands down. Perfect for sippin'. And at room temperature, not from the freezer (to mask the taste). -Chet
