IDPA PCC setup

I’m looking to see what I can run for a belt and mag pouches for idpa. I’m a uspsa pcc shooter can I use my same belt setup? I run one mag pouch horizontal at 12 o’clock and a second at 9 o’clock.

I don't shoot PCC in either sport so I can't speak from experience or in depth knowledge.

 

I can say that USPSA double belt rigs are considered illegal as it is considered that they don't meet the following requirement:

8.4 Belts may be no wider than 1-3/4 inches or thicker than 5/16 inches and must pass through a minimum of all but two of the pant loops.

 

As far as mag pouch placement there is this from the equipment division appendix:

B.1.10 PCC Gear: Shooters may optionally choose to place additional magazines in pouches to carry with them while shooting stages. If they choose to use magazine pouches, them may not place more than 2 on their belt which must be worn behind the hip bone as in pistol divisions. Optionally, shooters may carry magazines in pockets that are below the belt or stowed inside the waistband.

 

Hopefully some IDPA PCC shooters will check in on this.

The problem with B.1.10 is when it says "which must be worn behind the hip bone as in pistol divisions" --- is that that requirement isn't true of pistol divisions any more. 

 

The rule about pouch placement is gone, and instead we only have: 

  8.6.2.3 Magazine carriers must be worn in a location on the belt so that the magazine is completely concealed.

 

So...since concealment is optional for PCC, the upshot is that you SHOULD be able to put a PCC mag pouch anywhere you like on your belt.  Whether or not someone will give you attitude about it at a match because they didn't update B.1.10 when they updated the rest of the rules is a different matter...

Thanks for the replies! I will show up to a local match with what I have and if I cant run my belt I have pockets for those pcc reloads
