I still haven’t met anyone who has paid 1400 for a 929. Or anywhere close to that for a Ruger.

Now I could almost understand not knowing better and someone making an impulse buy at a shop for that, but not online.

Club member. Plus the gun was all tricked out by Mark Hartshorn, and i threw in hoster and 10 moonclips

You will. I think the appeal of the 929 is the fallacy that a semi-auto shooter thinks that they can just use the ammo they’ve already got or made. The first thing is to be consistent with brass choice. This will dictate the moons you need. Next is primers. Federal will allow you to lighten the action. Revolver competition is a lot more than just get one and go. But once you have it dialed in, it’s very addictive.

Ive shot revo for years. Stopped when uspsa went to 8 shot because I had three perfectly good 625’s.

i hand loaded fir them and my .38/.357’s. But at least in a pinch those guns would all shoot factory, even if factory .45’s barked some.

That’s insane to me- paying double for a gun. Especially for a gun that’s still in production.

But then people buy Korths for more than that too.

That is why mine would be gone for $2500 as it would be a better deal with the Houge BB, extended cylinder release and M*Carbo spring kit. 😁

i did from eli, but it got the full treatment so that doesn't count.

Mark does excellent work as he is the one who built my revolvers and has worked on a number of mine.
