Trey
I really like the balance of the tungsten rod with a brass magwell. The gun is neutrally balanced and shoots much better for me. Matt @ CGR told me I would really like shooting the 35 better with the heavy guide rod and brass magwell. He was right.
Trader
Question: 2 people on this thread mentioned buying guide rods from "T.H.E." What company is this? Is there a website? Thanks.
Nik Habicht
T.H.E. Accessories is a manufactirer of Glock racing parts. Tungsten Guide ords and magwells come to mind. CGR at http://www.customglockracing.com can hook you up.

Their web site is http://www.the-acc.com but there really is not any product info. I am a THE distributor and can get you anything you might need from them. twix
I liked the tungsten guide rod alone, you could definitely feel the extra weight in the muzzle end. A THE brass magwell added weight and a big opening for mag changes to the base and gave a nice balance to the gun. Now it's even better. Throw in a CGR Top Fuel trigger and Holy Wah! Now it's like shooting one-a dem full-on fancy compettition guns! Big fun!
skeeter
i know that i'm going to be the odd ball. but one of the things tht i like about my glock is it's light quick on the target and then off. the bore is low enough that you don't get a lot of muzzle flip anyway. i did change the guide rod we the end came off the plastic one went to a stainless so i could change springs with less hassel. twix
Skeeter- are you talking about your long-slide G24? That would already be a little muzzle heavy compared to the 35 wouldn't it? BTW, what color is it this week?
skeeter
still just green and gold with a little red spashed on it. was thinking that it needed a new color for the new season hot pink what do you think?
