Cant for the life of me see what they do any different than a $25 set of 3M's or a set of 3M's with foamy's underneath. The 3m 21 DB's I have work fine for rimfire by themselves. If I was RO'ing Id probably have plugs underneath. I can still hear dings, and if someone wants to talk to me they can speak up. I can hear them. Also no problem hearing the beep.
