pierce195
I purchased a glock 17 (1st generation) with 3 high caps for $250. The glock was a used police trade-in that looks like it had very litte use. A serial number check puts the date of this gun at March 1989. Is this a fair price for a used glock, because I my purchase another one for my wife. Thanks Edited November 22, 2005 by pierce195
Kimberkid
buy as many as you can at that price!! Any Glock that has all its parts is worth $300 and ususally more. I'd buy a truckload of em at $250 a piece
jhgtyre
That sounds like a great deal. You should buy more!
pierce195
I think the place I got it has six or seven more of the first gen 17's.
iainmcphersn
Which shop? I bet we could clean them out before lunch.
Sean Gaines
Are you kidding....... 1st, 2nd, 3rd, generation, whatever. they still go bang. From the pics, it looks like you got night sights also. those alone are probably $60-75. So really you bought the gun for less than $200. my next question is WHERE? pierce195
Steven R Jenkins Inc. (Indianapolis, IN) it is a police/fire/security supply store. Yes the gun came with working night sights. The price on the gun was $300, but they came down $50 and added and extra mag. (Dave is the glock guy if you call). George
Buy them all and then sell them off at $350-400 each with only one mag ;-)
John K
I bought my 1st gen g 17 froma private party for $300, with two mags and a nylon holster. I was a SO at a GSSF match and got the Glock Armorer to do all the upgrades and rebuilt two mags, for FREE. I do like this gun and don't really want one with finger grooves.
