Are you sure that isn't the original airboat used by Jerry's great-great-uncle (George Alcibeaud) to cross the Red River in the famous painting? It wasn't as hot and humid as I thought it was going to be. I've been to Bombay Beach in the California desert, and I've been to the Shreveport river front. Both are equally devoid of human habitation and any redeeming qualities. The Shreveport river front reminded me of Beirut Lebanon after the war, but with Cajun food.
