Indy574
I have a 1987 Sig P226 with the mud rails. I installed new E2 grips on it but now the factory magazines won’t drop free. I have a new Mec-Gar that drops easily with no issues . If I remove the E2 grip then the factory mags drop easily. Any suggestions, obviously it’s binding somewhere but I haven’t found it. Figured I’d walk away and inquire here.
Styro
Sounds like a defective mag. I've bought those.
Indy574
It’s not a mag issue.
RePete
Look for interference from inside the grips.
NOSHMJ
Its usually the grips need a little material removed from the inside. Its probably rubbing on the mag, not allowing it to drop free. However, I only use the MecGars for my 226.
Indy574
Thanks. I’ll take away some material and see how it reacts.
